My mom, a 91 year old Peruvian lady traveled with United Airlines last night from Lima to Newark. The flight was delayed so it took off at 1.30 a.m. on October 21st about when it was programmed to depart at 11 pm of October 20th from Lima.
United Airlines provided wheel chair assistance for her, we said good bye right before entering the security zone, where the young man pushed her on the wheel chair and her carry on through security, later on proceeded to the gate.
She arrived this morning to Newark International Airport safe and sound however the carry on was missing.
We have contacted the airline in both ends yet at this hour 0410 p.m. of October 21st 2023 it remains not found.
It is a old military / olive green small suitcase, a carry on with her belongings such as a black faux leather bag with a case inside containing a watch, earrings, also a LG tablet. It also contained some sweet potato chips bag and yukka sticks as well as a bag with crackers for anemia. In the container on the cover of the bag there is an envelope containing documents such as blood work, also some official documents for processing of the US residency and another documents, the results of the sonogram made to her throat.
It contains a pink bag with a zipper with all her medication.
It is urgent that the carry on is found.
