I placed the bag in the overhead bin INSIDE THE AIRPLANE and sat in my seat. At the end of the flight, when I tried to retrieve it, it was missing. It was clearly stolen, not lost. THe bag contained a brand new laptop computer, iphone, my iranian passport, large amount of cash and jewelry, eyeglasses and medication. I know the valuables will not be returned as the thief has likely already taken everything of cash value from the bag. But I"m hoping the thief has some semblance of humanity to have dropped off the empty bag with my passport, medication and eyeglasses. |

I have spoken to the police and we have looked at the Camera footage of everyone leaving the plane. It does not seem like anyone was carrying my bag while getting off the airplane. It seems as if the theft was done semi-professionally as whoever stole the bag, probably concealed it in another bag because they knew there were cameras outside of the airplane. |
