Location Details |
I left my grey Osprey brand backpack in an overhead bin in economy class on flight DL 177 from Dublin, Ireland (DUB) to Atlanta, USA (ATL) on May 29, 2023.
I reported my backpack missing in Atlanta after disembarking early in the afternoon, Atlanta time. I reported the loss to the gate agent, the customer service agent, and the 800 number phone at the gate, who all said since it was an international flight the only thing I could do was to file a written report. But my conversation with the 800 number was cut off when my next flight was about to close. I did not get the number (if the agent assigned one to my claim) because I had to disconnect quickly to avoid missing my flight to Sarasota.
I am now at my home in Sarasota, Florida.

Additional Information |
The large Osprey brand backpack contains my USA PASSPORT inside a grey-black case, together with credit cards, cash, etc. Also DIABETIC medicines and other items, and my IPad. I have pinged the IPAD today, May 30, and got the report that it is in Atlanta. |
