Item was last seen in the main cabin. I attempted to place it in my purse in front of me on the floor while the main cabin was dark. I believe I missed my purse and it hit the floor out of plain sight. |

I attempted to place my phone in my purse on the floor during the flight. It was dark in the main cabin, so I believe I missed my purse and the phone hit the floor out of plain sight. I did not check to see if I was in possession until I was on the train headed to the Doubletree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station. I attempted to reach Delta through the front desk to report the loss, but it was difficult to connect with someone.
