Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has developed a mobile app to help travelers navigate the rapidly expanding facility as more people fly in and out of the nation’s ninth-busiest airport.
The free app can help passengers find the nearest airline lounge or nearby dining and retail options, all while keeping tabs on flight schedules and departure gate information. About 1,800 people have already downloaded the app. Check Seattle-Tacoma International Airport lost and found
“We’ve talked about doing an app since about 2010 and we finally did it. We’ve worked on it for about the past year,” said Dave Ruddick, a Port of Seattle information technology manager. Sea-Tac Airport lost property
Owned and operated by the Port of Seattle, Sea-Tac Airport lost and found spent more than $175,000 to develop the smartphone app with its own resources and outside consultants.
