Location Details |
On Thursday 12 October 2017, my husband and I flew from London Heathrow to Shanghai on Virgin Atlantic flight VS250. I was seated in 61K, and my husband in 60J. As we were settling in, a cabin crew member requested that my cabin bag (a lap-top back pack) be stowed in the overhead locker. They put the bag in lockers 2-3 rows behind me, as the locker overhead my seat, was full. The flight was an overnight flight, and, as we had had a busy time while in Europe, I slept for approximately 7 hours on and off.

Additional Information |
It is extremely unlikely that the pouch containing the jewellery could have fallen out of my hand luggage, as it was in an internal pocket, and the bag was closed. I did not access the bag during the flight as any personal items required during the flight were in my small handbag.
Please note: the photo attached shows the pendant on a heavy gold chain. In this instance I travelled with an 18 ct gold cable choker chain. |
